Who We Are
Dan got his early
maintenance training from 20 years in the Air Force, where he
maintained both engines and airframes. He started working in
Sanford for Central Carolina Aviation in 1984, and has worked in
the local area ever since, for Mid Carolina Aviation, American
Aviation Management, and finally for Sanford Aircraft. Dan has
been with Sanford Aircraft right from the start.
Cheri's been with
Sanford Aircraft right from the start. She takes care of all our
accounting and office work.
Dan started working on
airplanes in 1980. He worked at Gregg County Airport (GGG) in
Longview, Texas, and worked at Eastex Aviation and Millionaire.
He went to East Hampton Airport in 1986 to work for East Hampton
Aire, Sound Aircraft Services, and Myers Aero Service. He has
been with Sanford Aircraft since it's start in September of 1995.
